Following in the tradition of my earlier corporate personae, G & W (Australia) Pty. Ltd. and G & W Japan, Inc., I have been offering language and production services as well as web design services under the name of G & W Communications in the US since 1992. I have been based in Missouri, Virginia, and Washington, and I work with clients in America as well as in Japan and in Europe.

Born and educated in Germany, I have over 20 years of experience in all phases of corporate communications. As co-founder and long-time managing director of Syntax Co. Ltd. (1980) and Creative Typographics, Ltd. (1983), two successful corporate communications companies in Tokyo, I went on to work as an independent translator and consultant. I am fluent in English with a working knowledge of French and Japanese. My ATA certification is for the English-to-German language pair.
